About VAMP Facial Treatment

The skin is the largest organ and covers the entire external surface of the body. Over time, it undergoes aging caused by both internal and external factors.

Preparation

When preparing for your VAMP facial treatment, you may need to temporarily modify your skincare routine to avoid retinoids, acids, and harsh exfoliants for several days beforehand. You may be asked to discontinue using certain medications and supplements containing blood-thinning properties. Alcohol consumption should be avoided before and after the procedure. You will also need to ensure you are using the proper skin protection in the days leading up to your treatment, as active sun damage may result in your appointment being rescheduled. On the day of your VAMP facial treatment, you will need to arrive at our clinic with clean skin that is free from any makeup or skincare products. Any further preparation instructions will be provided to you by a member of our team during your consultation.

Procedure

The VAMP facial treatment is typically performed after another skin rejuvenation procedure, such as microneedling or skin resurfacing, to further stimulate the production of collagen. Upon your arrival, your skin will be cleansed, and a topical anesthetic will be applied to help minimize any discomfort.

If you undergo a microneedling procedure, the specialist will use a device with fine needles to create micropunctures in the skin. As the device is passed over the treatment areas, tiny, uniform microchannels will be created to stimulate the body’s natural regenerative response. After the designated area has been treated, the VAMP serum will be applied and absorbed into the microchannels. The VAMP formula is infused with skin-revitalizing nutrients and PDRN to help enhance the appearance and health of the skin. The duration of your treatment can vary depending on how large the area being treated is, but it typically can range between 15 and 30 minutes.

Recovery

After your treatment, you will be able to return to your daily routine, as there is no required recovery time associated with our VAMP facial treatment. During the initial healing period, it is possible to experience mild swelling, flakiness, or redness. These effects will subside on their own after two to three days. You will need to avoid wearing makeup for at least 12 hours, and you will need to continue avoiding harsh or acidic skincare products until your skin has completely healed. You will also need to avoid direct and unnecessary sun exposure and wear sun protection. Any additional recovery instructions will be provided to you during your personal consultation.

Results

For optimal results, most candidates require 3 treatments, 1 month apart. The results of your VAMP facial treatment will become more apparent as the collagen levels in your skin continue to increase.
