An Implant Material with a 20-year Record of Safety
The SoftForm facial implant is made of a soft, pliable synthetic material called ePTFE. This material has been safely used in more than 3.5 million people in an extensive range of medical and surgical procedures such as vascular grafts.
A Simple In-Office Procedure
Although the length of the procedure can vary with the number of implants used, it generally takes less than one hour. Your doctor will insert the implants below the surface of your skin through two small incisions.
What to Expect
Since each person's experience with the SoftForm facial implant procedure may differ, it's important to talk with your doctor about what you can expect following the treatment.
 *Immediately following treatment - results are visible immediately. Swelling, bruising, or some discomfort may occur. Some patients may experience a sensation of tightness at the implantation site.
• Up to 1 week following treatment most swelling and bruising should disappear. Many people will not be able to tell that a procedure has been done. Although you may always be able to feel the implant under your skin, softening of the implant is anticipated over time.
• 3 to 4 months following treatment healing is complete. Continued softening of the implant is anticipated.
