What is the Y Lift?

The Y Lift is a non-surgical procedure that will reinvigorate the skin, eliminate wrinkles, and restore volume. Essentially, this procedure will return the youthful “Y” shape — wide at the top throughout the cheekbones and eyes, and then narrowing to the chin. Age can cause this shape to widen and sag, causing a look of age.

The procedure does not use incisions rather a series of injections just below the skin and muscles to restore facial contours. These injections are made using a specialized titanium instrument in three different areas to restore volume and return the face to a youthful Y shape. The instrument is also maneuvered under parts of the face to lift depressed muscles and fat to add volume. Additional Hyaluronic acid is injected to increase collagen production for more youthful look to the skin. The entire procedure takes just 30 minutes, and the results will last up to two years. Patients will usually be able to return to their normal schedules on the same day.

What is the Hour Lift?

The Hour Lift is an alternative to a traditional facelift. The main difference between the two procedures is that the Hour Lift makes incisions in the skin to tighten the facial muscles, while a regular lift will actually move the muscles in the face.

During an Hour Lift procedure, a small incision will be made just in front of the ear. The tissue just below the skin will be lifted, the muscles tightened, and then the extra skin is removed. The remaining skin is then redraped to produce a wrinkle free, youthful look.

After the procedure, patients will need to wear an ice head garment for a day or two. Normal activities can be resumed within about three days, and the sutures will be removed in about six to eight days. The results of an Hour Lift will leave you looking five to 10 years young, and the effects will generally last between five to 10 years.
